"April brought the surprise of replacing the home oil heating tank. The old tank was in a crawl space to which the only access was a small window-like opening. The new tank would be installed in a different location. Your team arrived last Thursday, 21 April. After a while, I went outdoors and was amazed to see pieces of the old tank in the driveway. I had heard no clanking or sounds other than what turned out to be suctioning the residue from the old tank. How they managed to remove those large tank pieces and maneuver them through small spaces and tight turns with no swing space speaks to their skill. They proceeded to the next phase, installing the new tank. Again, I heard almost no sounds except for one or two clanks as the tank was positioned. They left this establishment as clean and undisturbed as was possible. This letter is to express my thanks to them for their professionalism throughout the job and for being such good sports about the confined working conditions.
I sent a picture of the pieces of the old tank in my driveway to a friend who is a retired fire chief (who also speaks about public safety to first responders throughout the country). He replied: “I have never seen a tank so clean upon removal. The removal crew did a great job removing residue before taking it out of the basement.”
